Our training plans are created by your race director Kristian Manietta who has been coaching endurance athletes since 2006. Kristian has raced trail races from 10k through to 200 miles.
You’ll get a well structured plan that will enable you to enjoy completing the race, while also getting all the tips and tools related to the Run Comfy Numb courses.
The 50K plan begins February 19 and the 25K plan begins March 18. Participants will receive an email from Coach Kristian with login access to a detailed plan via Training Peaks every 4 weeks.
We have plan options for both beginners (or new trail runners) looking to complete the Run Comfy Numb 25k or 50k courses with confidence and experienced trail runners that are wanting to take their results to the next level.

There are absolutely no refunds, deferrals, or credits issued by ENDURANCE SPECIFIC EVENTS (XTERRA Whistler, XTERRA Pemberton Trail Run, Run Comfy Numb Trail Race) if you cancel your entry for any reason. Please don’t Ask.
You can not defer your race entry to a future year.
You CAN transfer your entry to another person via the transfer link on the registration page (link). There will be a $15 admin fee. Transfers MUST be done by midnight May 24 (2 weeks out from race day).
There are no waitlists.
You can move down in distance until midnight May 31.
No credit or refund for the difference in price if you decide to move down in distance.
You can move up a distance until midnight May 31.
If you want to move up in distance you will have to pay the price difference at the current registration rate.
Refunds can ONLY be processed for anyone who selects the optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program during registration. You will have an option to refund through Protecht. Details here.
