2024 is the 20th Anniversary of Run Comfy Numb 25k!
We will continue to have two options. The classic 25k course and for those who want to go longer, we have a 50k option that’s in its 3rd year.
The 25k is arguably one of the most beautiful point-to-point races in British Columbia. The Run Comfy Numb course is mostly run on the internationally recognized mountain bike route ‘Comfortably Numb tail’. It’s a black diamond technical trail. The trail climbs steadily from the start, but it’s up and down, rocky and rooty with twists and turns, so it doesn’t feel like a consistent climb. But it does feel tough! This is not an easy run, it’s challenging. Expect rolling rocks, a lot of bridgework, a beautiful bridge crossing, numerous sweeping vistas, and almost 100% singletrack.
Runners will complete the entire Comfortably Numb Trail and descend down to Lost Lake. Then there’s the final climb through some of Lost Lake’s finest blue and green trails as you make your way to the finish line in Spruce Grove Park.
